For readers unfamiliar with Park Hopping, Park Hopper tickets allow guests to visit more than one park at Walt Disney World daily. You can visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning, then visit Epcot for an evening stroll and dinner.
When Walt Disney World reopened, Park Hopping was suspended. Guests were restricted to visiting just one Walt Disney World Park a day. Park Hopping has now been reintroduced, and in most cases, it no longer has any restrictions.
In January of 2024, all-day Park Hopping returned to Walt Disney World. Before that, Park Hopping had been limited to after 2 pm.

Park Hopping allows increased variation and spontaneity in your vacation, but tickets cost a little extra. If the ticket you bought does not include park hopping, you can usually upgrade your tickets by discussing it with your tour operator or even at the park gates.
The majority of guests have date-based tickets and no longer need a Disney Park Reservation. However, for some ticket holders, including Annual Passholders, reservations are still required. If you need a reservation, you will need to scan into the theme park for which you hold a reservation before hopping to another park. These rules also exist if you want to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, or have a Dining Reservation.

Park Hopping and Lightning Lane Multi Pass
If you are planning to purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Park Hop, once you have visited your first attraction, you can book reservations at any Walt Disney World park.
Will Park Hopping always be available?
If parks reach capacity, Park Hopper access may be limited or unavailable. In such cases, Disney will notify guests via the My Disney Experience app. This is an infrequent event, and if it does happen, it will be around major holidays or on the opening of new attractions.
