Raglan Road has been around in Disney Springs since 2005 and has become synonymous with good quality, hearty Irish Food. While we have dined at Raglan Road numerous times, we hadn’t tried their Brunch before. We were impressed by Raglan Road Brunch, and it provided a welcome weekend retreat from the parks.

We have generally enjoyed Raglan Road, but it is worth pointing out that perhaps they served us one of the worst meals we have had at Walt Disney World several years back. Following this meal, it did take us a couple of years before we decided to venture back. Overall, the restaurant has very few poor ratings on popular review sites, so while poor meals might happen occasionally, it isn’t to be expected.

Raglan Road was the brainchild of celebrity chef Kevin Dundon, but he left several years back to concentrate on other business interests. Since Kevin left, the standards have been maintained, and little has changed with the overall experience. Unlike Disney-owned venues, there have not been massive cuts to the menu size, but dishes have become smaller. The dishes at Raglan Road were originally massive; today, they are just big.

Raglan Road is set up as a traditional Victorian Irish Pub. There is nightly singing and Irish dancing, which also extends to the weekend brunch. The venue is massive, unlike a traditional Irish Pub, but it is incredibly popular. Advanced Dining Reservations are not usually too difficult to obtain, but you can also book through Open Table.

Raglan Road is one of the best venues at Walt Disney Wood if you have a special diet or intolerance. There isn’t a special menu, but most dishes can be adapted. On asking for gluten-free menu options, most dishes were already gluten-free or could be adapted.

Raglan Road Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Raglan Road stage show, consisting of singing and Irish Dancing, runs from noon until 3:00 p.m.

The menu includes various dishes from the regular lunch menu and some breakfast items. Breakfast items are a mix of Irish items and traditional American dishes.

The big appeal to me of going to Raglan Road Brunch was the opportunity to get proper bacon and black pudding in Orlando. I was excited about attending and getting a proper breakfast for the first time in 2 weeks. Honestly, I hate American breakfasts, especially the bacon and sausages. Getting an Irish sausage and bacon was a definite treat when in Orlando.

As mentioned above, Raglan Road has previously served me one of our worst meals in Walt Disney World, but the brunch was excellent. Raglan Road Brunch is definitely worth considering if you want a relaxing start to your weekend.
