A packed day today at Universal Orlando, and possibly the longest Blog Post title we have created to date. We will start today’s post by discussing Voodoo Doughnut in CityWalk, which we experienced for the first time today.
Voodoo Doughnut opened in CityWalk, at Universal Orlando Resort, in 2018. The venue serves over 50 different doughnuts, some of which are very weird.

Voodoo Doughnuts has certainly courted controversy with some of its previous doughnuts. Health officials banned the Nyquil Glazed doughnut and the Vanilla Pepto Crushed Tums doughnut. Plus, it no longer has an eating challenge after a man choked to death trying to eat a half-pound doughnut in 80 seconds. The prize for the challenge was a free doughnut and a celebration pin. If you search online, you can find videos of people who successfully achieved and survived the challenge.
The doughnuts are wacky and different from anything you can get back home. You can see our photos below.

Would I return? Yes!
Would I want one every day? No!
They are very sickly, but as a one-off treat, they are pretty good and more creave than Krispy Kreme.

We have reviewed The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen previously. We visited for lunch today, and it didn’t disappoint.

This vacation includes Mrs. ModernLIfeIsGood’s birthday, and although it is still two weeks away, she has already taken to wearing a badge for everyone to wish her a happy birthday.
However, more importantly, we have forgotten to bring birthday cards, so we are on a mission to obtain some. Unfortunately, from previous experience, we have found buying cards is not that easy in Orlando. Hopefully, we will succeed this time, or we could be in big trouble.
Finally, we have spent some time further exploring the parks, and here are some photographs. Keep checking back for our Orlando 2023 Live Blogs.
