It wasn’t meant to be like this! We should be in Orlando. However, due to inconsistencies and incompetence by the “Son of Bungle” and “Matt HandonhisCock,” we are in Shropshire. Our hope had rested on “Grandpa Joe” and his G7 visit to Cornwall. Despite having a non-socially distanced BBQ with the “half-vaccinated” Mrs. Merkel and others, our hopes came to nothing. While international travel, including visits to the Eden Project, is suitable for G7 leaders, it is still too risky for the minions. Despite our disappointment, we are now on a UK Staycation Adventure, including many firsts. To start things off, we are in a lodge at Henlle Hall in Shropshire.

Henlle Hall sits in Shropshire, England, close to the border in Wales. The original Georgian Residence was built in 1794. The current owners have restored the house, and there have been numerous lodges built on the grounds. The grounds are immaculate and include a duck pond, deer park, and walled gardens. If there is one slight disappointment with the site, there are probably too many lodges, and more are getting built.
The lodges are all individually designed, and we are staying in Colonel’s Lodge. Colonel’s Lodge is a two-bedroom lodge with a hot tub and is tastefully decorated. The lodge is very well equipped with high-quality appliances.
After a BBQ, walk, a hot tub dip, and a few beers, a sign on our lodge’s patio catches my attention. It has been hard work writing a blog in recent times with an inappropriate name, but at this moment in the time, the sign is correct and “Life is Good.” However, how long will it last?

Over the coming weeks, we will be on a multi-stage trip around the U.K. Tomorrow; we will be at Chester Zoo. Join us on our daily adventures.
