Following a 3 year renovation, Disney Springs now consists of over 150 stores, restaurants, and entertainment locations. Disney Springs opens every day of the year. The official opening times are from 10 am to 12 am. However, not all shops and restaurants will be open at all times. In 2021, opening times are reduced, and you are advised to check the latest times before you visit.
Unlike theme parks, Disney Springs does not need significant planning. However, you should plan dining reservations and identify any shops or bars you must visit. Currently, all guests are screened before entering, and it is advised you plan to enter Disney Springs 60 minutes before any reservation.
You will also need to plan whether there is any entertainment you wish to experience when you visit Disney Springs. You might need to purchase tickets in advance.
Disney Springs has a different feel at different times of the day. Make sure you schedule both a day and night visit if you have enough time. Currently, entertainment options are limited in Disney Springs. We hope a more normal service returns later in 2021.
There is no charge to visit Disney Springs, and even standard parking is free.
Disney Springs is not an inside mall, and you must be prepared for all types of weather, including the rain.
You do not have to take much to Disney Springs, but we recommend carrying water, a mobile phone, a camera, sunscreen, a hat, waterproof, and cash or credit card. If you stay at Walt Disney World, you can use your MagicBand to charge to your resort room.
In 2021 you will also need a face covering, and you might want to bring alcohol hand wash.
You should note during 2021, many venues are operating at a limited capacity, and the Disney Dining Plan is currently not available.
The most popular dining locations at Disney Springs book up fast. Don’t expect to get a favorite dining location on the day, especially during periods of free dining. You should plan and book an Advance Dining Reservation as early as possible.
Many of the restaurants at Disney Springs also allow reservations on Open Table, and availability can differ. If you are struggling to book, make sure you check Open Table.
Also, consider booking reservations outside of peak dining periods. Often you will find better availability by eating mid-afternoon.
The Disney Dining Plan is currently suspended at Walt Disney World
The majority of table service and quick service locations do accept the Disney Dining Plan. Make sure you check the My Disney Experience App for information.
Also, there are plenty of opportunities to use your snack credits when visiting Disney Springs.
Disney Springs has a lot of unique merchandise. Do not expect you will find everything later in a theme park. Make sure you either buy it or leave time to return later in your vacation.
There is good free WiFi coverage available throughout Disney Springs.
Transport options including parking at Disney Springs are currently restricted. Check My Disney Experience for the latest information.
It is easy to get to Disney Springs, but it is not always quick. Traffic can get very busy at Disney Springs if you have made a dining reservation leave in plenty of time.
There is free parking available if you are driving, and there is free transport available from all Walt Disney World Resorts. After 4 pm, you can catch a bus from theme parks to Disney Springs, but return transport is not available.

Located at the Town Center is the Disney Springs Welcome Center. The Welcome Center provides guest services assistance at Disney Springs. Services available include accessibility information, guide maps, currency exchange, and services for foreign visitors.
Disney Visa cardholders, annual pass holders and Disney Vacation Club members can often obtain a discount. Ask the cast member before making your purchase.
Yes, Disney Springs can get very busy, especially in the evening. Make sure you keep a close eye on small children as it easy for them to get lost. During the reopening period, capacity at Disney Springs is limited.
If you stay at a Disney Resort, you can get your purchases delivered to your resort shop. This service is available in the majority of shops at Disney Springs. Currently, this service is suspended.
