Every year we consider what our must-dos are when we next visit Walt Disney World. 2021 is a little different as we are not sure, due to international travel restrictions, whether we will even visit Walt Disney World! However, we are an optimistic group here at Modern Life is Good, and these are our Top 5 Walt Disney World Must-Dos for 2021.
Visit Walt Disney World
After several canceled vacations and repeated rearranged flights, it will be a big achievement to get to Walt Disney World in 2021!
However, vacationing at Walt Disney World might not be for everyone at the moment. Here are our reasons to vacation at Walt Disney World in 2021 and reasons to give it a miss.

Be the first to visit a reopening attraction
It is fantastic Walt Disney World has reopened, but not all the resort is. Over the course of 2021, expect further attractions to reopen. How about being one of the first guests to visit Blizzard Beach when it reopens on March 7th?

Ride a new attraction
It is still a little unclear what new attractions will open during 2021 at Walt Disney World. Due to resort closure, many new attractions will be delayed until 2022 or even 2023. Don’t expect Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or TRON Lightcycle Run to open this year.
Although no date has been confirmed, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is slated to open in 2021. If you have ever ridden the version at Disneyland Paris, you will be aware it is a Must-Do experience.

Visit a recently opened attraction
Walt Disney World closed shortly after the fantastic Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opening at Hollywood Studios. Very few guests, including ourselves, have had the opportunity to ride Hollywood Studios’ most recent attraction.
If you have not visited Walt Disney World recently, many attractions have opened in recent years. Toy Story Land, Pandora – The World of Avatar, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge should all be on your must-do list.

Visit Tom Sawyer Island
Now, this was on our last year’s must-do list. Unfortunately, world events meant this never happened, In addition, Tom Sayer Island is currently closed for refurbishment.
Assuming it reopens and we can visit Walt Disney World, 2021 will be the year I eventually will visit Tom Sawyer Island!
