As we continue our “Road to 2021 at Walt Disney World” series, we are pleased to announce some exciting news. More Walt Disney World Resorts are reopening in 2021.
Yes, the reopening of Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has been announced. However, unfortunately, the reopening of Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort has been pushed back a few weeks. With the already announced return of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in summer 2021, we will soon be getting close to a full house of open resorts. However, it isn’t certain what percentage of full capacity these resorts will be operating.

The reopening dates for the resorts are:
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort March 22
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort May 30
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge June 6
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Summer 2021
However, all resort reopening dates are subject to change, and don’t be surprised if this happens.

No opening date has been confirmed yet for:-
- Disney’s All-Stars Music
- Disney’s All-Star Sports
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and Riverside
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (excluding Disney Vacation Club)
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
A Disney’s Boardwalk Inn reopening date was previously shared but it has been announced it will remain closed until further notice. However, when guests do arrive the Keister Coaster Slide will have a new look.

The list of resorts now accepting reservations is getting increasingly long:
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

This is all exciting news and suggests the “Road to 2021 at Walt Disney World” might lead to a return to a more regular resort. However, with all the recent changes, is it still worth staying in a Walt Disney World Resort?
