Recorded during October 2019 is our Anthem of the Seas Walk-through Tour. Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas was launched in April 2015 and was the second ship in the Quantum Class.
Anthem of the Seas weighs 168,666 GT and has 18 decks, 16 accessible to passengers. Unique features on Quantum Class ships include a skydiving simulator, dodgems, the North Star Observation Tower, and the exclusive two70 lounge.

Anthem of the Seas is currently home-ported in Cape Liberty, New Jersey, but will be sailing from Southampton, United Kingdom, in Summer 2020. Southampton was the original base for Anthem of the Seas during its first season.

Anthem of the Seas had a mixed reception when previously based in the United Kingdom, and its return has surprised many critics. There were several reasons for her failure in the British Market, but the disastrous implementation of Dynamic Dining was a significant factor.

However, Anthem of the Seas is a fantastic ship and is one of the best cruise ships we have sailed on. It is a cold-weather ship and is not as well suited for warm summer vacations. We believe it offers a brilliant environment for touring cooler destinations, including Alaska, Canada, New England, and the Norwegian Fjords. It will be interesting to see how it is received in 2020 when sailing to the Mediterranean for the British market.

Our Anthem of the Seas tour explores many of the ship’s highlights, including the pools, solarium, Royal Esplanade, Two70, Restaurants, Bars, and Seaplex. Also, we have a view from the top of the viewing capsule, The North Star.
