Are you going to be short of time when visiting Epcot? Here are 5 Attractions to Skip at Epcot in 2019 if time is tight.

I know what you are thinking.
“5 Attractions to Skip at Epcot in 2019?”
“Mr Modernlifeisgood.com how can there be 5 attractions to skip at Epcot? Disney has closed everything!”

While it is true, Epcot is the latest park to get the Disney Pimp My Ride Experience there remains plenty to do at Epcot. Unfortunately, since I first published this article in September 2017 further attractions have closed. Epcot has an exciting future, but currently, it is undergoing massive changes. However, don’t skip Epcot it does remain my favourite park in Walt Disney World.
Why might you have to skip attractions at Epcot?
Epcot’s biggest challenge is the sheer size of the park. To navigate World Showcase takes the best part of a day. Many guests will still struggle to complete the whole of Epcot in 1 day despite the recent closures.
Soarin, Test Track & Frozen Ever After are some of the most popular attractions in the whole of Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, you can only get 1 advanced Fastpass Reservation for 1 of these attractions. If you are only visiting on 1 day you will inevitably have to skip the odd attraction.

5 Journey Into Imagination With Figment
The closure of the rather limited Circle of Life film has made me search for a new number 5. However, the truth is there really isn’t anything to dislike about Journey Into Imagination With Figment. The lack of alternative attractions brings Figment into my Top 5. gkjgkjhgkhgkgkgkgkgkgkgkgkkgkkkg
The ride itself is fun and is a true family ride. However, it is short and rather unmemorable. For that reason, it hits my Top 5 as if time is tight you will not miss anything essential.
Sorry Figment, for 2019 you are in my Top 5 Attractions to Skip at Epcot.

4 Innoventions
This used to be one of the most exciting and interesting places to waste some time in Epcot. The 2 large pavilions were once filled with hands-on exhibits demonstrating technological advancements.
Today it is an empty shell with the majority of exhibits now gone. Presumably, this will be given a new lease of life in the Epcot renovations.
However; for now…SKIP IT!
3 Living With The Land
Part of me likes this attraction but, the other part of me thinks it lasts too long. It is certainly an interesting boat ride showcasing the future of agriculture.
However; it has changed little over the years. Presumably, the future should be here by now or it just isn’t happening. Perhaps many of these innovations are the agriculture equivalent of the Sinclair C5?
If you have plenty of time it is worth seeing but if time is tight I would consider skipping.

2 Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
Held in the former Captain EO & Honey I Shrunk the Audience Theatre. Whil these 3D films are pretty good they can be seen elsewhere.
Is this really a good use of your Walt Disney World ticket money?
1 Mission Space
In my opinion, this is the worse attraction in Walt Disney World. I have not ridden the new enhancement & I suspect I never will but basically, it is the same ride. Most of the attractions in this list are somewhat limited, but Mision Space cost a whopping $100 million to build in 2003.
Unfortunately, I just don’t get the ride and no enhancements will make me enjoy it.
I have never previously experienced the advertised speed or G-Forces but just a rather odd unpleasant experience.
While the orange ride provides a rather unpleasant experience the tamer green line provides nothing at all. I have heard nothing from recent reviews to change my mind that Mission Space is now worth riding.
Sorry guys but Disney’s £100,000,000 attraction is my Number 1 Attraction to Skip at Epcot in 2019.
