The Grand Floridian’s 1900 Park Fare hosts the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast starring Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger & Alice. Our Supercalifragilistic Breakfast Review, with an accompanying video, explains why this should be the one character meal you should have on your Disney World Bucket List.

I admit it, I am not the biggest fan of Disney World Breakfasts. As we usually use the Disney Dining Plan they rarely represent good value for money. In addition, I don’t like the American breakfast items that much. I would rather have British Bacon ahead of the crispy American stuff & I really don’t understand what Disney call a biscuit. Whilst it seems Britain & America are close in so many things we do appear to have different definitions of what a biscuit is. The American version you certainly can’t dip into your morning cup of tea!

Despite my reservations over Disney World Breakfasts, I have to admit I quite enjoyed the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. The Grand Floridian is a fantastic hotel for any luxurious event and the 1900 Park Fare is an elegant location. Yes, it is crowded & loud but its furnishing and overall ambience do feel more upmarket than most character meal locations. Big Bertha, a turn-of-the-century, fancifully designed organ from France takes centre stage in the restaurant. Big Bertha plays tunes periodically whilst you dine.

However, there are only 2 reasons why guests attend the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast. These reasons are food & meeting characters which the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast does both extremely well.
Food at The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast
Whilst there is no British Bacon to be found there is an astonishingly large choice of food available. Cereal, fruit, cheese, carved meats, smoked salmon & pancakes are just some of the food available. There is even an egg station where a chef will make to order omelettes and eggs.
We have been to a large number of the breakfasts at Walt Disney World and the food at 1900 Park Fare is some of the best.

Characters at The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast
Would you attend 1900 Park Fare if you didn’t want to meet characters?
I suspect the answer is probably not.
The venue is certainly a character finding treat including some characters who do not appear at any other dining locations.
During your meal, you will meet Mary Poppins, the Mad Hatter, Winnie the Pooh & Alice. Tigger, with an official photographer, will greet you on the way out. This had changed from our previous visit when Tigger also went around the tables. Character interactions, although brief, are good fun and perhaps slightly longer than other venues. Disney does not guarantee the advertised characters will not change but this is very rare.

Final Thoughts
The Disney Dining Plan is accepted and costs 1 Table Service Credit. Overall this meal represents reasonable value on the Disney Dining Plan. Allergies are catered for and a chef will show you round the buffet. Advance Dining Reservations are essential.
We think the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast is good fun and one of the best Character Meals at Walt Disney World.
