Day 2 on the Disney Wonder on our first Disney Cruise & we are at sea. We spend a day relaxing by the pool before dinner in the sensational Animator’s Palate. Sophie says it is the best restaurant she has ever eaten in and it isn’t hard to see why a 7-year-old thinks this. We are off for a show in The Walt Disney Theatre before Pirate Night. The Pirates of the Caribbean Deck Party ends with a sensational firework show. Disney Cruises are certainly full of showstoppers.
Days at Sea are what I love about cruising. Spending a little time relaxing whilst you reach your next destination. Exploring and chilling in equal measures. The Disney Wonder isn’t the largest Cruise Ship in The World and I suspect you will soon get bored if several days at sea but for 1 day it was perfect.
The highlight of the day for me was Animator’s Palate. This dining venue is part film, part show accompanied by some superb food. The highlight an appearance by Mickey himself in his Fantasia outfit.

However, the Pirates of the Caribbean Deck Party with live fireworks was also superb. It is amazing to see fireworks show whilst on a cruise. The logistics of organising this must be huge.

Our last Vlog from the Disney Wonder coming soon and we are off to Disney’s Castaway Cay. Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.
