Our third day in Universal Orlando was spent touring both parks completing areas we had yet to visit. For lunch we visited Confisco Grille at Islands of Adventure. Our day finished at Ollivanders Wand Shop.
Perhaps the crowds in the parks were slightly lighter today than recent days. However, long waits existed for all attractions and yet again our Express Pass was invaluable.

Today we parked hopped via the Hogwarts Express. You must have a 2 park ticket to ride the Hogwarts Express. It does take quite a bit of time reviewing park tickets prior to you entering the attraction. I do wonder if at some point Universal will abolish single park tickets.

Lunch was Confisco Grille at Port of Entry Islands of Adventure. I think the theme of this restaurant is adventure an it serves various foods from around the world. Food was very good with decent sized portions.

Overall we have been quite impressed with Universal’s Table Service Restaurants. We have found them to be cheaper than their Disney World equivalents. Try to reserve your table in advance. We had no trouble booking on the day and skipped the lengthy queue of walk-up guests.

Our day ended at Ollivanders wand shop in Diagon Alley. The interactive show for Ollivanders attracts some serious crowds during the day. However, when we attended at just after 9 there was no queue. Only 1 other family was in the show.

Jess was picked as the trainee wizard to be fitted with her first wand. This added to the fun of the show. Perhaps naively I thought getting picked meant you would get a free wand. I was wrong it would cost $50 to get her chosen wand!

Tomorrow we move on to the next stage of our journey. After saying goodbye to the Hard Rock Hotel we will be traveling to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Wonder.

I will bring you further reviews during out time onboard depending on WiFI.
