Don’t attempt to do it all in 1 day.
The Magic Kingdom is a massive theme park with lots of attractions. If your visit only allows for 1 day make a list of your must-do attractions.
Attempting it all in 1 day will probably lead to failure, tiredness & grumpy kids.
If you have time visit on 2 or even 3 days. This will also make your Fastpass strategy easier.
Have a Fastpass Strategy
Visiting Disney World now requires a Fastpass strategy.
There are no tiered Fastpass selections in the Magic Kingdom but you are still limited to 3 in advance reservations. Unfortunately, the most popular attractions are likely to have run out of Fastpasses once your initial selections are used.
In our opinion, the following attractions should usually be Fastpass selections.
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Space Mountain
