For those unfamiliar; the Disney’s Character Warehouse is a Disney Outlet where excess Disney Theme Park & Cruise Line merchandise are sold. There are 2 outlets you can visit:-
- Orlando Premium International Outlets on International Drive
- Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets near Disney Springs
Many items are heavily discounted in the stores and guests can grab themselves a bargain.
However your definition of “bargain” probably depends on which camp you sit in:
- The Mrs. Modernlifeisgood.com camp who see the same items they can get in the parks at much cheaper prices. Plus items which are now so heavily discounted they are must-buy just because they are a “bargain”.
- My camp who believe the items are only in the Character Warehouse because nobody wanted to buy them. In addition my camp also feel the prices were previously so grossly expensive you are now paying the items true worth.
However; there is probably plenty in the Character Warehouse for you no matter what camp you are in. Items are a lot cheaper than the parks and many goods you will still find inside the parks at original prices.
Whilst some of the items clearly are excess stock e.g. specific cruise memorabilia there are plenty of items that you will find in the theme parks. Often these items cost considerably more in the parks. In my opinion Disney’s Character Warehouse is a brilliant location to purchase gifts, t-shirts and pins. Pin traders especially can benefit from visiting the store.
I bought 2 T-shirts & a hat for less than the price of 1 T-shirt in the parks.
The rest of the family, who are all in Mrs. Modernlifeisgood.com’s camp, came out with sack loads of apparent “bargains”.
In my opinion Disney’s Character warehouse is worth visiting even if you are not in the Mrs. Modernlifeisgood.com’s camp.
