50’s Prime Time Cafe is one of the most popular restaurants inWalt Disney World. It is located in Hollywood Studios. The café serves classic American Comfort Food. The café is themed like Mom’s kitchen and you are served by your Aunts and Uncles!

You may dine at a retro TV table and enjoy black-and-white clips from popular 50’s prime-time shows whilst enjoying your meal.
However; be warned there are house rules!
- No elbows on the table.
- Put your napkin on your lap.
- Lay the table.
- Finish your vegetables.
- No chewing with you mouth open.
- Plus many other rules you may find out too late.

Break the rules and your Aunt or Uncle might issue a punishment
- Stand in the corner.
- Sweep the kitchen floor.
- Threats to do the dishes.
- Get force-fed your vegetables with airplane noises.

To get the most out of 50’s Prime Time Cafe you need to get involved. If you want a quiet romantic meal this is not the place for you.
50’s Prime Time Cafe is great fun. It does not serve the best quality food in Disney World but it does taste great and portions are huge. Think more Classic American Home Cooking than Michelin Star.
One thing that had changed on our last visit is they now take your dessert order with your main. Personally I don’t like this and would rather decide after my main. In the past the desert menu was on a View-Master but I have never seen this.

Food includes Mom’s old-fashioned pot roast & Aunt Liz’s golden fried chicken. I had the chicken and it was very good.
Desserts include an Ice Cream Sundae and Dad’s Favorite Chocolate-Peanut Butter Layered Cake. Desserts are massive and only those with the biggest appetites will complete them.
50’s Prime Time Cafe is one of my favourite restaurants in Disney World. Your experience very much depends on your server but the majority are fantastic.
The Disney Dining Plan is accepted at 50’s Prime Time Cafe and costs 1 Table Service Credit.
