Day 6 of our 2017 Orlando Adventure started at the Character Warehouse.

For those unfamiliar; the Character Warehouse is a Disney Outlet where excess Disney Theme Park & Cruise Line merchandise are sold. Many items are heavily discounted and guests can grab themselves a bargain.
However your definition of “bargain” probably depends on which camp you sit in:
- The Mrs. Modernlifeisgood.com camp who see the same items they can get in the parks at much cheaper prices. Plus items which are now so heavily discounted they are must-buy just because they are a “bargain”.
- My camp who believe the items are only in the Character Warehouse because nobody wanted to buy them. In addition my camp also feel the prices were previously so grossly expensive you are now paying the items true worth.
However; the is probably plenty in the Character Warehouse for you no matter what camp you are in. Items are a lot cheaper than the parks and many goods you will still find inside the parks at original prices.
I bought 2 T-shirts & a hat, to replace my lost one, for less than the price of 1 T-shirt in the parks.
The rest of the family, who are all in the former camp, came out with sack loads of apparent “bargains”.

The second half of the day was spent in Animal Kingdom. Pandora is the big new attraction in Animal Kingdom although we did not go there on this visit. We will be visiting Pandora in the next few days.
Dinner was at Yak & Yeti. It is a long time since we visited Yak & Yeti as we recollected not liking it too much previously.

When planning our trip we felt it was time to give Yak &Yeti a 2nd chance, Food was excellent although they rather annoyingly take dessert orders with mains.

We did a few attractions including Kali River Rapids after dinner but Rivers of Light was the main attraction this evening.

Rivers of Light is the new nighttime spectacular in Animal Kingdom. It’s launch had been delayed on our last visit. Tonight was our first opportunity to view,
In our opinion Rivers of Light was an excellent show although the arena was very hot and the show took time to get going. Although incredibly impressive the performance felt a lot shorter than other Disney night shows.

Another great day in Orlando.
Tomorrow we are off Resort Hopping. See you there!
