We have left Grenada our final stop and are now on our way back to San Juan. Tomorrow we are at sea before arriving in San Juan Sunday morning.
Today we went on the Ultimate Sea, Sun & Fun Cruise. Well they got the Sea & Sun bit right unfortunately the Ultimate & Fun but was somewhat lacking. It is probably best to review this further on a later date.
Grenada itself is a very beautiful island with crystal clear water & lush vegetation. Apparently it is known as the Spice Island….our Ultimate Sea, Sun & Fun Cruise was meant to tell us why…oh well…perhaps it was going to be on the advertised beach stop?

Today’s excursion was a shame as our first 3 have been exceptional and have been full of useful information and bucket loads of fun. However, nothing takes away the bueaty of Grenada.
Tonight was formal night and dinner was very good. No singing waiters so far on this cruise though. We have also noticed a few other changes from previous cruises e.g. bread now comes in baskets. The also seems to be very few waiters in bars. Staff although very friendly do seem very rushed.
Various shows & parties on the ship tonight and the whole ship seemed busy. The question remains where was everyone on the first few nights?

Quick mention of Adventure Ocean which our youngest daughter has loved once again. Seems a good team on Jewel even if they are running a chocolate milk racket.
I think my own children might be part of this chocolate milk mafia. After telling them I could not find any they ensured me it has been there every day. However; they then failed to locate any. I can’t help wonder why.
What I have learnt today:
- Nothing really
What I have still to learn:
- What makes an Sea, Sun & Fun Cruise an Ultimate Sea, Sun & Fun Cruise?
- Where is the chocolate milk getting hidden? Someone must know.
Time to enjoy the first lie in of the week.
