Time to write a short blog about our penultimate day in Orlando. I have so much more to tell you about but I do need to complete this no longer live blog first. Today it was Magic Kingdom, Be Our Guest for lunch & Chef Mickey for dinner.
Breakfast was had at the Kilimanjaro Club at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have enjoyed the Kilimanjaro Club and would probably book club level again at Walt Disney World. We have enjoyed breakfast most days here and it has been nice to have somewhere to go to get a complimentary drink before retiring each night.
Magic Kingdom was relatively quiet today. We managed to complete all outstanding attraction and rode some favourites again. It did pick up later in the day as Not So Scary partygoers arrived. I did have a particularly long wait for Space Mountain in our last hour.
Lunch was at Be Our Guest which operates a Counter Service option at lunchtime. We had reserved a slot several months back but waits were still long. Once you have ordered your food it is brought out for you by a member of staff at the table you have chosen. This bit of Be Our Guest is very clever as they find where you are sitting from your Magic Band or a Rose you are given. Food was quite good and I had a Beef Baguette and Fries with an Eclair for dessert. However; the wait to order food and then receiving food is far too long. The are better quick service locations in Disney World including Wolfgang Puck Express & Sunshine Seasons. The venue is stunning but what was delivered did not live up to the hype. Be Our Guest is a better choice for dinner although considerably more expensive.

Chef Mickey was our venue for dinner. This is at the Contemporary Resort and is a very loud character meal. We had to wait a long time past our reservation to be seated. Food is good but not stunning as you would expect for such a venue. The buffet does have plenty of choices and kids love the ice cream stations. Character interactions were excellent and I have some excellent video to add of our time. The most important thing was our youngest child loved it!

Our final stop was back to Kilimanjaro Club for a nightcap. Although not advertised wine and beer is available throughout the day. I strongly recommend the Tusker beer.
Fond memories
