Our second full day is now compete and another fantastic day in WDW. We started the day with breakfast in Kilimajaro Club and transferred to Magic Kingdom. Our plan for the day was Fantasyland.

The park was busy and yet again I think we planned the wrong park. EPCOT we noticed had shorter waits than yesterday. However; armed with our Fastpasses we did pretty well. We managed to complete all of Fantasyland apart from the Mine Train. We have 2 Fastpasses booked for the Mine Train on future visits. We also started Adventureland completing Jungle Cruise & the Flying Carpets. In addition we met Tiana, Rapunzel, Donald, Goofy, Daisy & Minnie. Not a bad first day I felt considering the crowds.

One of the things I have noticed on this trip compared to previously is the number of queue jumpers. In Disneyland Paris this is commonplace but not not encountered in WDW previously. Yesterday the were several who jumped at Test Track & the must have been about 20 in the Rapunzel queue. I think some large family groups are saving line places for characters & WDW must find a way to stamp it out. It does ruin enjoyment when large groups can reserve space in multiple lines.

Lunch was at Columbia Harbour House and we had the traditional fish & nuggets. Quick Service locations remain poor at Magic Kingdom compared to the other parks but this is one of the better ones.
Dinner was at the new Jungle Skipper Canteen. Themed around the Jungle Cruise with mentions of the fondly remembered Adventurers Club. Dinner was very good I had “Tastes Like Chicken…Because it is! for my main & Kungaloosh for Dessert. Kungaloosh being one of the references to the Adventurers Club. The meal is good fun and highly recommended. It isn’t fine dining though.

Tomorrow we are of to Typhoon Lagoon & Disney Springs in the evening. We will be having dinner in Raglan Road in the evening.
Off to bed now to wish upon a star…
