Royal Caribbean first introduced an escape room game on Anthem of the Seas. Harmony of the Seas is the first ship to have a dedicated room for this. Escape the Rubicon can be found by entrance to Adventure Ocean on Deck 14.
The game has been created by a company called Puzzle Break.
You will be met at the entrance to the game by your guide who will explain the rules. The guide will also offer occasional assistance during your experience. The game lasts 60 minutes and working as team you will work to solve the escape. There are a series of puzzles which lead you to the final solution.
We broke out with seconds to spare.
According to our guide the majority fail.
Escape the Rubicon must be booked in advance and is only for ages 14 and over. Whilst the attraction was free on opening it now comes with a small charge.
The game is played in English so those who do not speak English may struggle. It isn’t easy but it is great fun. I won’t spoil experience but here are a few photographs from our experience.
